The Paris Bourse loses nearly 2%, the bank sink



The Paris Bourse significantly deepened its losses Tuesday morning, the CAC 40 lost 1.89% and suffering of the fall in banking after the 50,000 job cuts announced by U.S. giant Citigroup.

At 10:29 (9:29 GMT), starring lâchait index 60.01 points to 3122.02 points, after a sharp drop of 3.32%.

Like other places, Paris has renewed fears for the U.S. economy, following the announcement of Citigroup and the pause in the rescue of American banks, and very pessimistic forecast of economists association NABE.

The banking sector weighed heavily on the symbol, BNP Paribas dropping 9.10% to 39.10 euros, Credit Agricole 5.77% to 8.26 euros, Dexia of 11.22% to 3.75 euros and Competitive from 7.61% to 34.64 euros
